Yes, I can say the same. I recall at least 2 Fix Packs prompting me
about how there was this one item in the Fix Pack that was not as new
as what I already had on my system. That something was SB16D2.SYS, the
Sound Blaster 16 device driver. I replied NO, SERVICE.EXE did not
replace this module on my system, and I avoided the whole problem. I
didn’t have to reinstall MMOS2, nor did I have to reinstall the Sound
Blaster drivers.
